Omega Speedmaster Ultraman ‘Speedy Tuesday’ Limited Edition

Released in 2018, this limited edition Speedmaster 42mm pays special tribute to the ULTRAMAN television series which aired in Japan in the ‘70s. Worn in the show by its characters, this special piece is certainly fun while still boasting the space credentials of the legendary 1967 ‘Moonwatch’. The original ‘Ultraman’ Speedmaster from 1967 incorporated bold orange colouring on the seconds hand, a feature which matched the suits of the heroic Monster Attack Team. These striking elements of orange feature prominently in Omega’s follow-up design to 2017’s release of the first ‘#SpeedyTuesday’. Importantly, this example features the dot above 90 on the bezel, in line with the original models.

Unworn and in brand new condition, this particular example is #1191 of 2012 produced. Fastened to a superb NATO strap, this watch comes alongside its original inner and outer packaging, UV light, booklets, bill of sale, alternate leather strap and guarantee dated 13/12/18. Incredibly rare and highly sought after, this limited edition Speedmaster was especially difficult to obtain upon its release.
