Hamilton "Fab four" military chronograph

£2995.00 Hamilton chronograph, part of what is nicknamed the fab four (Hamilton,CWC,Newmark and Precista). Distinctive asymmetrical steel case, housing the reliable work horse Valjoux 7733 movement This fine clean example has a bold 6BB over stamped on the back which suggests that this watch was seconded to the RAF having originally been issued to the Royal Navy, at the same time it would have had a MOD service and a replacement (unsigned) dial fitted which would have new luminosity. This watch is dated 1972 and is in fine condition.
