Chopard Mille Miglia GTXL Competitor's Edition 2010

The legendary Mille Miglia was an open road race across Italy taking place between 1927 and 1957. With many famous faces in motorsports taking part, the fierce competition along the 1000 miles from Brescia remains a poignant memory in the racing world.

Chopard's active support of the Mille Miglia as their main sponsor and official timekeeper since 1988 inspired the brand to release a collection of precision sports watches that many consider their very best.

This GTXL model from 2010 was personalised for one of the competitors in the race of that year. With the driver's number etched on the display-back case and the word 'competitor' engraved beneath, this GTXL is a unique watch which appears to be unworn. This watch has a diameter of 44mm and a thickness of 14.6mm. It is powered by a Cal. 16 1/2 Automatic Movement and is presented on an original rubber strap with folding buckle. Furthermore this example comes alongside its original packaging, booklets and unused DVD.
