Breitling Navitimer Ref. 806 1959 Re-Edition (Ltd. Edition)

Released in 2019 as a tribute to the iconic Navitimer from 1959, this re-edition of the classic 806 reference celebrates many of the great elements of the original while incorporating Breitling's modern innovations into its design. In the late '50s, Breitling worked with AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association) to craft the perfect pilot's watch, introducing many brilliant functions that certified the now iconic Navitimer as 'a pilot's co-pilot. Similar to the original 806 reference, this Navitimer boasts its famed slide rule bezel which surrounds a 41mm case with a thickness of 13mm, housing a myriad of complex functions on its dial. The AOPA logo can also be found beneath 12 o'clock- in line with 1959 versions.

Notably this watch is powered by a manual wind movement, consistent with Navitimers of the past. Limited to just 1959 pieces, this re-edition Navitimer proved incredibly popular in the watch collecting community. Unworn and with its original packaging, papers and guarantee, this model is in immaculate condition. Highly desirable and difficult to source, this incredible re-edition from Breitling was one of the most special releases of 2019.
